He sighed quietly to himself, letting his legs dangle off the side of the cliff he had been sitting upon; Waker of the winds, he may be a hero; but this was his loneliest of days.
Link had never cared for Valentines day, back on Windfall island, none of the girls had been too crazy for him, he never got valentines.

He scooted back up a little bit, not wanting to be too close to the edge of the cliff; the ocean's water sparkled below him, it was twilight and the day was nearing it's end.

He reminisced about waking up this morning, he had been so confident that today might be different, he was on a pirate ship with friends, this time...But nothing had seemed to change.
Just like all the years before it, he was once again alone.

The green clad hero picked up a pebble and tossed it out to sea, simply passing the time before he would have to head back to Tetra's ship and get back onto the mighty sea.

Link scooted back once again, still feeling a bit too close to the edge, his cheeks flushed pink at the resulting crinkling sound that filled the void air around him.
For the most part, he had gotten used to the thick garment, he wore it for practical purpose of course...Traveling all the time, being on a ship with so many other people, it was easier this way.

Out of silly self-conscious he tugged his tunic down a bit more, making sure to cover up the babyish diaper. It didn't make much of a difference, no one was in sight anyways.

He watched the pink and orange sky, it was magnificent, to say the least.

"What're you doing all the way up here, Link?"
Link turned his head in surprise, he glanced up at the inquiring girl; It was Tetra.

"You shouldn't be moping on some cliffside, you should be feasting, or at least staying with the crew." She went on, a little stern at first, but her tone softening.

Link didn't answer her, he just glanced forward; a view split by the sparkling sea and the luminescent sky.

Tetra sat down next to him, the female pirate folded her arms. "No one should be alone on Valentines day." She murmured, quietly.

I'm always alone on this day. Always.

Tetra began to stare forward as well, taking in the sight. "I should know, I'm used to it...Myself."
She said, her revelation seemed to make an impact on Link, his facial expression in awe.

"Maybe we're both just outcasts, eh, Link? Not meant for love."

Tetra's cheeks turned a little pink, but a hint of a smile crept onto her face, an arm over Link's shoulder.

"But, who says we can't be alone, together?"

A few moments passed, the sun was almost all the way down over the horizon. Link leaned against Tetra, a warmth filling him.

I'd like that.
